Auburn Public Library receives over $10,000 in support from Library Foundation

April 20 2026

AUBURN, Ala. — The Auburn Public Library has received significant contributions from the Auburn Alabama Public Library Foundation (APLF) to support a range of initiatives and programs throughout the year.

The Foundation allocated more than $10,000 to fund eight different projects designed to enhance library services and expand programming opportunities for the Auburn community. These contributions will directly support initiatives that promote learning, creativity and community engagement.

Among the funded projects, $1,000 has been designated for knitting and crochet classes scheduled for this summer at the Auburn Public Library. Fiber arts programs are consistently requested by patrons and provide an opportunity for community members to learn new skills while building connections with others who share similar interests.

“The support of the Auburn Alabama Public Library Foundation allows us to expand what we can offer to the community,” said Ashley J. Brown, Engagement and Outreach Librarian. “These funds make it possible to introduce new programs and continue providing high-quality resources and experiences for Auburn residents.”

The Auburn Public Library extends its sincere gratitude to the APLF for its continued generosity and commitment. Through this support, the Library can further its mission to inspire, enrich, and delight Auburn residents with vital and valuable resources, services, and experiences.
